Science
In today's class, we will review the results of the bacterial investigation:
-- What did we do?
-- Which surface samples grew, and which did not?
-- Were there any cross-contamination issues?
-- Is it possible to figure out what kinds of bacteria did grow?
-- Any surprises?
-- How might we now
-----Explore further?
-----Design an investigation to follow-up on any questions that have arisen, or possible new lines of inquiry?
Possible online resources: see the Resources section

Test Prep
Today we will re-visit some of HiSET documents we looked at briefly in September.
Begin to answer these suggested questions from page 3 of the HiSET Study Companion, using that document as well as the HiSET Test at a Glance and the HiSET Test Taker Bulletin.
Begin to answer these suggested questions from page 3 of the HiSET Study Companion, using that document as well as the HiSET Test at a Glance and the HiSET Test Taker Bulletin.
- Learn what each test covers. (Read the Test at a Glance that outlines the categories measured by each content test.)
- Assess how well you know the content. (Use a chart to keep track of your practice test scores. Here's the HiSET chart of what those practice scores mean.
- Understand how questions will be scored. (See the Scores section of the Test at a Glance or the Test Taker Bulletin.)
- Become comfortable with the types of questions you’ll find on the HiSET exam.
- Plan and organize your time (set a realistic target for when you want to take the tests), and develop a study plan. (See their possible study plan template on pages 8-9 of the HiSET Study Companion.)
